I'm glad that you're my teacher

I'm so glad I'm in your class

As a role model I feel inspired

To do more than just pass


You help me reach my goals

I love the way you teach

Planting a seed of curiosity

Helping me to dream and reach

Being a Teacher must be hard work

Especially with me

Always having to watch your back

To foil some evil deed


But the way I act

Is not the way I care

Because a teacher like you

Is awfully rare

Thank you (###) for all you've done for me

For teaching me all I need

For faithfully helping me

Gently planting the seed

Teaching's not like it used to be

These days there's lots of rules

Praise the hardworking

Admonish the fools


Teaching these days

Is about giving children rewards

Continual praise

And numerous awards


No more is it right to strap

Or use a giant stick

Berate the lazy

Or give a great big kick

  Santa's Mishap Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, With reindeer ready, he did believe. But alas, poor Santa had a bit to drink, His sleigh swerving, he couldn't think. Santa's nose, so brighter than Rudolph's, From what he’d drunk, certainly not the cold. "Santa," the elves warned, "you've had too much cheer, Let Mrs. Claus drive, it's crystal clear!" Jetting around on Christmas Eve no good to blow .05 Surely, Mrs Claus should drive Because if he gets caught by the RBT Then he’ll lose his licence indefinitely  But Santa laughed, "I'm fine, my dear, Just spreading joy, no need for fear." Down the chimney, he tried to squeeze, Tripped on his boots, caught in a breeze. The elves were worried, the workshop in a fuss, Santa's driving skills were clearly a minus.
