Mother's Day Poems

 Mother's Day Poems

On Mother’s Day I’m filled with dread
Should I buy a gift or let her stay in bed
Though with cold coffee and burnt toast too
I hope she’ll still say “I love you “.

But on this, her special day
We have to try and find a way
To show her just how we feel
And make her know that she’s unreal

She’s a superhero though she tries to hide
Even when she wears her undies on the outside
A superhero without a cape, that’s true
And yet she always has time for me and you

So just for you on this, Mothers Day
I’ll just take the time and have to say
A special wish for my superhero, true
All my hugs and kisses and “I love you"

Happy Mother’s Day

A mother’s love is never ending
And surpasses all other love
That is unless you count
The love from up Above

You taught me how to care
You taught me how to pray
You taught me all about respect
You really showed me the way

I learned how to love
I learned how to care
I learned how to treat each other
With respectful air

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to mothers far and wide
But in particular to the mother by my side
You were always there for me, you had my back
You helped me up when I went off track.

You loved me unconditionally, you really cared for me
You helped navigate the world, you taught me how to see
So for all the things you do for me I’ve just got to say
Thank you sincerely and Happy Mother’s Day
